about this variety

iconic mexican chilli with moderate heat and versatile flavor. jalapenos are perfect for fresh salsas, pickling, stuffing, and adding authentic heat to any dish.

compact plants produce abundant thick-walled peppers that mature from green to red. harvest green for classic jalapeno flavor or let them ripen to red for sweeter, hotter peppers. excellent for smoking into chipotles.
